Our Guiding Teachers and one senior teacher are fully authorized teachers who are responsible for the overall spiritual direction and teaching oversight for the community. Along with the Board of Directors, they help safeguard the ethical integrity, intentionality, and effective running of the organization. Tuere Sala and Tim Geil became the Guiding Teachers in 2017 after the retirement of Founding Teacher Rodney Smith.
