Danielle was fortunate to find the dharma in 2007 after serendipitously pulling a book by Jack Kornfield from a random bookshelf in West Africa. Since then, she has practiced and studied primarily in the Insight/Early Buddhist traditions and attended residential retreats at centers and monasteries in the U.S. and in Southeast Asia. Ajahn Sucitto and Thich Nhat Hanh have been major inspirations in Danielle’s day to day practice, and Mark Nunberg is her primary teacher and mentor. Danielle is deeply grateful for the neverending learning and growth that comes through a refuge in the dharma, and now finds it essential for surviving the wild of parenting three young children. Danielle has worked and taught awareness practices at meditation centers as well as in education and healthcare settings, and is most excited when she can simply hold a space for others to discover and experience the gifts of Buddhist practice.
