Carrie Tamburo, Ph.D., has practiced meditation in the Insight and other Buddhist traditions for over 30 years, having spent much time in silent retreat. She translates Buddhist teachings into Spanish and teaches meditation in both English and Spanish in San Diego and other parts of California. Carrie is a graduate of the Spirit Rock Community Dharma Leaders Program, as well as a former Spanish professor and Latin Dance instructor.
