How could being ordinary and simple be the end of the quest? Where did we think all this would lead except back to where we started? Our heart yearns for the simplicity of the ordinary but the mind feels it needs the right environment to “make that happen.” The right environment is here and now, always before our eyes. Live with the words “utterly ordinary” this week. Try to stay within the framework and intention of the words. See where you stray outside the ordinary. Do not blame your drama and complex life on others. How did you cause that to happen? What value do you still seek from drama, excitement, and chaotic activity?
