This will be a five-week hybrid course that will explore some of the Buddha’s most important teachings and consider how we can use our mindfulness practice (to see for ourselves), how the teachings might be helpful in navigating our lives. It will include an exploration of the Four Noble Truths & Eightfold Path, Heart Practices, the Three Characteristics of Existence, and other teachings as the class progresses.
This class is suitable for anyone who is interested in Buddhist teachings and has an understanding of Mindfulness Meditation comparable to Seattle Insight’s ‘Introduction to Meditation’ class. Class is also suitable for experienced practitioners.
Registration & Donation
Please register below to let the teachers know you’ll attend this class. This class will close for registration after the first session. The class is intended for participants to attend all five weeks.
Dana is a term for generosity, or freely offered giving. You can read more about it here. The registration donation below goes directly to Seattle Insight to support the center’s operations. As always, the $0 tier remains available so that practice stays accessible to everyone. Dana for the teachers is collected separately, and can be offered here. All teacher dana collected will be divided evenly between the two teachers.
