Session Description

During this retreat we will explore the awakened balance of equanimity, the fourth of the divine abodes and also an aspect of wisdom. We will look into what equanimity is and is not, and how we can bring equanimity into daily human life. We will also explore how equanimity can help us navigate our reactions and responses to the  political, societal and environmental difficulties of our times.

The daylong will include dharma talks, practice instruction, walking meditation, small groups and discussion periods. We’ll form community for a day, with good safety and mutual support.

This retreat will be hybrid, held both at the Northshore United Church of Christ and on Zoom.
