How does the language you use determine your view of meditation? Do you use the language of change or the language of immediacy to describe your spiritual practice? How does this perspective limit your understanding of the Eightfold Path? Notice how the language you use holds you to a particular orientation to the problem. Does it accurately depict how you relate to your spiritual growth? Is there a perspective that your language does not encompass? How would your practice change if you held an alternative perspective? How would it change if you held no perspective at all?
