We cannot talk about patience without investigating the reality of time.
Do busyness and patience have to be in conflict? Be still. Pause, and release your busyness. You are not needed anywhere else in this moment. Is it necessary to make yourself more important in this moment than you are? You are no less nor more important than the breeze touching your cheek or the warmth of the sun on your shoulder. To honor all life equally is to step out of time and into patience. The heart infuses all things timelessly. Observe the return of your personal agenda and with it your self-importance. Notice how you suddenly have little patience for anything but your own movement through life.
