Retreat on Buddhist Meditation and Quaker Worship (In-Person Only)

Please join us on a half-day in-person retreat to explore both Seattle Insight Meditation Society (SIMS) and University Friends Meeting (UFM) practices in order to learn more about the other community and maybe make new acquaintances or spark interest in a new practice.
The half day is an opportunity for the University Friends members to understand the Insight practice and vice versa. The morning will basically start with the Quaker followed by 1.5 hours of Insight practice and ending with a Quaker practice. The insight practice will be led by Tuere Sala.
There will be a potluck afterwards. Feel free to bring whatever you’d like to share.
