Practice metta both formally and informally this week. When it is challenging to offer metta to a difficult person or an aspect of yourself, reframe the difficulty from being a failing to an opportunity to see how you are taking something personally. Ask, "Where is there love for this?" Let the question reveal a spacious, non-personal, and boundless source of metta.
