Reflection and Practice

Explore the analogy of echolocation as a process of establishing the perspective of a separate self. Notice how some interactions and experiences “echolocate” more strongly than others. If you direct your attention to it, you can sense how you feel more defined and established in the sense of “you.” While other experiences have a much weaker “echolocation” and the sense of “you” feels more soft and pliable, and less defined and established. Reflect on how situations that used to bother you somehow stopped being an issue. This is a fruit of practice and wisdom.
