Seattle Insight’s Climate Action Group invites you to another Meditation Walk in the ancient, magical forest at Seward Park on Sunday, October 12, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.
We will meet in the meadow adjacent to Shelter #3 across the road from the trailhead and near the bathrooms: https://maps.app.goo.gl/pgUhDpTj1QxWwuaW9
We’ll have an initial circle, offer a land acknowledgment, followed by suggestions of intentions or ideas for contemplation as we walk for about an hour through the forest. Please join us for a precious time of deep connection with the natural world.
There is ample parking available, but please carpool or take public transit, if possible. Metro Bus 50 stops a block from the park entrance. We can arrange to pick up a limited number of people at the Columbia City light rail station. If you want to be picked up from the light rail station, contact Iris at antwomaniris@gmail.com.
