We invite you to join SIMS Local Dharma Leader Steve Wilhelm, and members of the graduating Introduction to Insight Meditation Class series, in a day of sitting and walking meditation in the Vipassana tradition. We will gather on Saturday, February 11th, from 9 am to 4:30 pm PDT in the sanctuary at Northlake Unitarian Universalist Church in Kirkland.  This event, to which all interested meditation practitioners are welcome, will be held Online and in Person. Zoom log in information and more detailed information about how the Day of Mindfulness will unfold will be emailed to registrants by the day before the event.

This day-long retreat will meet in a hybrid setting, both In-Person and Online simultaneously. When you register, you will be required to choose between In-Person and Online.

Please bring a light lunch for the noon one-hour lunch break.

Registration and Donation

We are requesting registration for this Day of Mindfulness. Registration will be open up to an hour after the start of the event. Please see the registration form below. The suggested event donation is $30 plus teacher dana. (Dana is a term for generosity, or freely offered giving.) Please use your best efforts to pay the suggested donation or another heartfelt amount. All are welcome regardless of ability to pay. (Select the “donate at the event” option to choose a different donation amount or to donate by check rather than credit card – please see the SIMS Donate Page link for details.)

Following our tradition, none of this donation will go to the teacher. Please consider offering teacher dana online or at the event to support their livelihood. Online teacher dana for this series can be made at paypal.me/SteveWilhelm48.

Please note: If you are in the current Introductory Meditation Class Series, your class registration includes the Day of Mindfulness, so no additional donation is suggested. As noted above, Zoom log in information and more detailed information about how the Day of Mindfulness will unfold will be emailed to registrants by the day before the Day of Mindfulness.
