Daylong Retreat: Forgiveness
A Day of Meditation and Reflection
with Anna Ossenfort
4:30 PM at Seattle Insight Meditation Center, (2729 6th Ave. S., Seattle, 98134) (Map It)
Many of us suffer from perceived transgressions, thoughts and beliefs that keep us caught up in the bondage of self/identity. At this daylong meditation retreat, we'll explore together the timeless spiritual principle of forgiveness and will learn practices for bringing the power of this healing balm into our daily lives.
Our day of retreat and reflection will include periods of guided meditation, silent sits, walking practice, dharma talks, small group discussions and Q&A sessions.
Basic instruction in insight meditation is requested, but all are welcome. If you have questions about this event, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Registration and Donation
No registration is required. The suggested event donation is $30, plus teacher dana. (Dana is a term for generosity, or freely offered giving.) Teacher dana can be offered at the event. Please use your best efforts to pay the suggested donation or another heartfelt amount. All are welcome regardless of ability to pay.
To inquire about the accessibility of SIMS events, such as wheelchair accessibility or seating for those with visual or auditory disabilities, email email@example.com. If, for physical or other reasons, you are not able to participate for the entire event, you are welcome to participate to the extent you are able.
