Dharma Talk: Awakening Through the Nine Bodies: An Introduction

Phillip Moffitt Dana DePalma
with Phillip Moffitt and Dana DePalma

12/1/2017 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM (Friday evening) at Seattle Insight Meditation Center, (2729 6th Ave. S., Seattle, 98134) (Map It)

Dana DePalma will be co-teaching with Philip.  Dana has been studying the Nine Bodies intensively with Phillip for a number of  years.  She was the co-teacher at last year’s Spirit Rock three day non-residential retreat on this topic.

This dharma talk and the three-day nonresidential retreat (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) coincides with the publication of Phillip Moffitt’s book on this topic, Awakening Through the Nine Bodies

The Nine Bodies teachings are an exploration of how to utilize the many dimensions and manifestations of consciousness in meditation. The teachings map out a journey that starts with the kind of consciousness that arises in the physical body and is directly observable, and then takes us through ever more subtle levels of consciousness.

Please note that attendance at either the Friday day session of the three-day retreat or this Friday night dharma talk is necessary in order to attend the retreat on Saturday and Sunday. The Friday sessions are an introduction to the teachings for the weekend. Please see the description page for the Nine Bodies Three Day Retreat for more information.
