Weekend Retreat: Befriending the Mind/Heart
with Christina Feldman
10/22/2017 4:30 PM (Saturday and Sunday)
at Seattle Insight Meditation Center, (2729 6th Ave. S., Seattle, 98134) (Map It)
Each day of this retreat begins at 9:00am and ends at 4:30pm.
This weekend will be a study/practice retreat with periods of formal practice and periods of teaching rooted in several early discourses that focus upon what it means to cultivate a mind/heart that is a friend and what obstructs the clarity and spaciousness possible for us. The weekend will be held in a background of silence with times for questions/reflection.
Registration and Donation
The suggested event donation is $70 for Saturday and Sunday, or $40 for one day, plus teacher dana. (Dana is a term for generosity, or freely offered giving.) Teacher dana can be offered at the event. Please use your best efforts to pay the suggested donation or another heartfelt amount. All are welcome regardless of ability to pay.
