SIMS at University Friends Meeting House (4001 9th Ave NE, Seattle, WA, 98105) (
How many of us train our eye to see the good? How many of us train our ear to hear the good? And how often, in our daily rush of bad news, bad politics, and bad hair days does the mind incline itself toward what’s already good?
During this daylong retreat, we'll practice sitting and walking meditation in silence together. There will be guided practices, short dharma talks, and time for discussion, as well as silent group lunch. Beginners and experienced meditators and everyone in between is welcome!
This retreat is open to people of all faiths, persuasions, races, ethnicities, nationalities, ages, resources, sexual orientations, gender orientations, and ranges of ability.
