Danielle stumbled upon a book by Jack Kornfield in March 2007, and has been a dedicated vipassana practitioner ever since. She has regularly attended long retreats, including a 6-week retreat at IMS, and was a community leader for Common Ground in Minneapolis, helping to create and facilitate multiple groups for the sangha. Danielle loves to share the benefits of practice with others; she facilitated a meditation group in her graduate program and now facilitates a group of new meditators in Seattle.
Danielle currently teaches courses in career exploration and in mindfulness at South Seattle and Seattle Central Colleges, and coaches young professionals on their career and life goals and academic pathways. She is passionate about helping people gain awareness of their strengths and passions, and transform that awareness into action and a fulfilled career and life.
