Equanimity (1 of 2)

Equanimity is a balance between the relative sorrows and ultimate perfection of the world. It is a full embrace of life as it is without disturbance.

For Your Contemplation

Equanimity is living in alignment with the totality of the moment. It means embracing the present moment no matter what form it takes. This week say, “yes” to the present, regardless of its content. Live with an abiding “yes to the present” by dropping all arguments concerning the content and respond appropriately within the moment from that “yes.” Surrendering all resistance and living in the oneness of now is equanimity.
